As a continuation of the message and delivery brief, we have to use our three posters as inspiration to create a mail shot to send out to our chosen audience, portraying the message we were showing in our posters.
My initial ideas are creating something that is educational, but at the same time explores the idea of communication between species and explores the curiosity behind a story like the one i am working with.
The envelope I send my mail shot in has to be interesting, and has to stand out enough for the schools/colleges etc want to open it and read what it has to say. I also want the whole piece to be curious, and have many parts to it for the students to look at and discover.
To stitch a little book or leaflet inside the envelope I think would be really interesting and adds another dimension to the piece. If i keep the stitch open at both ends it would also be possible for the book to be taken out of the envelope if needed, so it can be a separate resource.
Another resource in the mail shot could be a smaller leaflet in a pocket inside the envelope. This could simply be a smaller version one of my posters or a smaller card of information about communication between species.
