Design principles - Identifont. OUGD404

In the group we were each asked to find 5 typefaces from the universities computers and print them out. We were then asked to choose another persons typefaces and using identifont.com, use the characteristics of the typeface to figure out what font each of them are. 

1. Lucdia Bright

Designed by Charles Bigelow and Kris Holms in 1985.

 2. Using Identifont, i couldn't find this font. I tried many different variations on answers that i was uncertain on but still i had no luck. 

However looking on the universities computers i found that this font is braggadocio. designed by W.A. Woolley in 1930.

 

 

  3.Lyndian Cursive, designed in 1991-1995 and published by ascender corp.

 4.Ariel, designed by Robin Nicholas and Patricia Saunders in 1984. Published by Monotype, a version of this font has been provided free with Microsoft office since 1992, but the full font is avaliable to buy from:

myfonts.com

linotype.com

fontshop.com

ascenderfonts.com

 etc. for around £18.

 

 

5. Suomi Slab Serif, designed by Tomi Haaparanta in 2009.
