Create the concept for the branding of a typographically themed restaurant.
For this project I was quite excited about the idea of creating my own branding for a restaurant or cafe establishment as it is something I have always been interested in. Firstly I needed to rewrite the brief to fit my own criteria and narrow down my audience etc.
Recently a big trend in food and restaurants in the pop up shop. This is when a restaurant will open up shop for anywhere from a week to a few months, giving it a very exclusive feel and creating excitement around the brand. I find this really interesting and so will base my restaurant around this idea. I also have a huge passion for baking and so I want my typo-restaurant to be a bakery using exciting flavours and colours.

My bakery still must be typography themed and I think the best way to do this is with the name and also with the food itself. Some ideas of names so far are:
- The Type Bakery
- Typogateux (not sure if this is stealing or not...)
- The Baking Type *
I have decided to go with the name "The Baking Type". I think this works well to incorporate the typography theme very subtly, but also gives the idea that it is a special type of bakery.
Pop Up Bakery
For this brief you must create the concept for the branding of a new typography inspired pop up bakery. The bakery will only be open for one - three months and will be extremely exclusive, only the best cakes, flavours and colours. Baking is not just about the taste, it is delicate and must look impeccable and so this must be taken into consideration when creating the concept. The concept must include logo, colour scheme, packaging, what type of cakes and sweets will be on the menu, signage, exterior and interior proposals and any other elements that you deem important for the concept of the brand.
